Their performance consists of a series of beautiful sonic tapestries by well-known Australian composer-performer Sarah Hopkins. These pieces inspire and delight whilst journeying one deep into the spirit of the earth and the spirit within each one of us.

Lush, heartfelt cello melodies combine with harmonic overtone singing, didgeridoo, recorder, djembe and the celestial harmonic whirlies in an inspiring performance which truly lifts the spirit.

Titles include: Sonic Blue, Remember the Joy, Reclaiming the Spirit, Bridge Between Worlds and Honour the Earth.

Spirit Stream's performances often include Sarah's unique audience participation events using her sonorous and accessible handbells and Harmonic Whirlies. Playing music like this together can be such a unifying experience where all cultural differences disappear.

Spirit Stream's recent highlights include performing in the Millennium Concert "Joy to the World" in Christchurch, New Zealand; at the Mind, Body, Spirit Festival (Brisbane); The May 2000 Lightworkers Gathering (Maleny, Queensland); plus The World Peace Concert; and Fiesta Viva (Brisbane).

Sarah and Chris have been performing together since 1997. Recent highlights include performances at the Woodford Folk Festival; Universal Lightworkers Conference (Queensland); World Expo 2000, Hannover, Germany; performances with the Queensland Symphony Orchestra (of Sarah's orchestral music, including didgeridoo and Harmonic Whirlies); plus the World Peace Concert in collaboration with the Gyuto Monks from Tibet. Their music can be heard on the Sounds of Global Harmony CD in collaboration with Shakuhachi player Anne Norman and the Gyuto Monks.
